Does Bodyweightloss work for all ages?

Bodyweightloss is designed for ages 13 and up! The Bodyweightloss MyMoves App will make sure you are on the correct meal plan and calorie level to optimize your weight loss and reach your goals.

Adolescents between the age of 13-17 can follow the Bodyweightloss MyMoves App, as long as they do not have any health conditions other than seasonal allergies or asthma and have their parent’s permission.

Our bodies and metabolism change as we age. At Bodyweightloss we help you reach your weight loss goals whether you’re a new mom or post menopause

How does the Bodyweightloss MyMoves App Work?

With the Bodyweightloss MyMoves App, you’ll follow a meal plans designed by dietitians and nutritionists exclusively for Bodyweightloss members. Every meal plan maps out the appropriate calories and nutrients to help you achieve optimal weight loss, along with the optimal amount of fats, carbs, and protein needed for each day to set you up for success.

Exercise Details – The Bodyweightloss MyMoves details screen displays specific information about each exercise movement. This includes video content link, instructions, sets, repetitions, weight, speed, distance, etc. The Details screen also allows changing of exercises, adding additional sets and repetitions and deletion of these items.

Exercise Database – Search the database of nearly 1,000 exercise videos. Refine your search by body part or search tag keywords such as kettle bell, dumbbell, yoga and more.

Calender View – Use the convenient Bodyweightloss MyMoves calendar to view and plan your workout schedule. Touch on a day to view the exercises assigned. Once you have completed the exercise, touch on the box to mark as done. Touch on the exercise to see the Exercise Details screen.

List View – The List View of Bodyweighltoss MyMoves allows you to see at-a-glance your schedule of past and upcoming workouts. Check boxes are made available to identify which workouts have been completed. Quickly jump to any day’s workout or toggle back to the Calendar view.

Can I sync Bodyweightloss Apps across multiple devices?

It’s possible to sync your Bodyweightloss data between more than one device. Choose any device and simply login to any Bodyweightloss App to track all of your information.

How do I install the Bodyweightloss Apps?

In order to access any of our Apps, you will need to create a Bodyweightloss account and subscribe to either a Basic or Premium Package. 

To install the Bodyweightloss Apps, just head to the Apple App Store (iOS), or the Google Play Store (Android).  Search for BWL Apps.

Once you have installed the Bodyweightloss App, please launch the app and sign in using the username and password you used to sign up for your subscription. If you signed up using Facebook or Google, remember to select those buttons instead.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

Whether you would like to lose a small amount of weight for a special occasion, such as a wedding or reunion, or want to make more significant changes, Bodyweightloss has program options to meet your needs.  Using Bodyweightloss weight management products and/or online web services in combination with a modest calorie intake, a balanced diet and regular physical activity you may expect modest weight loss over a period of several weeks. Modest weight loss can be defined as approximately 1 to2 lbs. of weight loss per week. Bodyweightlosss on average, can help you lose those 1-2 lbs. per week. Results may vary based on an individual’s personal weight history, body composition, level/frequency of physical activity, and motivation among other factors.

 Experts agree that losing 1-2 lbs. a week is a healthy and sustainable weight loss range, so keep that in mind when you set your weight loss goals and expectations. You may lose more in your first few weeks on the program, but slow and steady wins the race!

What are some of the factors that can impact my weight loss?

There can be a variety of factors which may impact weight loss. These factors can include—but are not limited to—health status, body composition, medications, age, eating habits, calorie intake (both too low or too high) and/or exercise. Since there are many factors which can impact weight loss, we recommend seeking the advice of your health care provider prior to starting a weight management program.  

What are some of the health benefits of losing excess weight?

Most of our clients notice a general improvement in their health within a week of starting any program or taking supplements. Certainly from the first 10 lbs. lost our clients feel better from improved metabolism and nutrition and some pre-existing problems begin reversing. You’ll start enjoying more energy and will no longer get tired and fatigued in the middle of your day. Members who tend to have indigestion, heartburn, stomach cramps, or irritability from different types of fatty foods and spices will notice significant improvement within 1 to 2 weeks. Mentally, you’ll achieve a higher level of concentration and mental clarity – a combined result of your blood sugar stabilizing and other factors. They say it’s unhealthy to lose weight too quickly. Is that true?

With many weight loss programs, when a person experiences rapid weight loss (generally greater than 2 lbs. per week), the body’s tendency is to burn essential tissues (muscle, protein and electrolytes), making the person feel weak and tired and become ill. The body also restores these essential tissues and fluids at its earliest opportunity, causing rebound weight gain.

It is best to lose primarily fatty tissue and not normal necessary tissues (muscle, protein and electrolytes). Supplementing with vitamins, herbs and minerals to ensure your body gets the proper nutrition it needs.

Does the Bodyweightloss program offer weight loss counseling services?

Here at Bodyweightloss, we have an entire team of trained weight loss specialists available—willing and waiting to help you succeed. And since we believe weight loss is personal, you get the information and motivation you need right from the comfort of your own home, at a time that’s convenient for you.

Can I follow the Bodyweightloss program if I'm on medication or breastfeeding? What about diabetes?

Diabetics: If you have diabetes, take the Bodyweightloss plan to your physician or dietician for review to make the necessary adjustments to meal patterns, food choices, and portioning. It is your responsibility to adhere to modifications made by your health care professional.

We recommend that you consult your physician before starting any weight loss or exercise program, especially if you are taking any diabetes medications, as your dosages may need to be adjusted as early as your first day on the program. Our weight loss plan is not a cure, prevention or treatment for diabetes, and is not a substitute for diabetes medications. Losing weight helps you to lower your blood sugar so you can manage your type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes is a very common problem and there are many people who are diabetic because they are overweight. The extra weight results in poor carbohydrate control. They develop diabetes and will need insulin and/or other medications to control their blood sugars. Many of these people even continue to gain weight as a result of the pills and the insulin.

When you follow a healthy diet and lose weight properly, you have better control of your foods and blood sugar levels. Inevitably you’ll see that control becomes easier with less medication. All our Type 2 diabetic clients (often called adult onset diabetes) end up reducing or discontinuing their costly medications (pills and insulin).

Proper weight loss results in a lowering of high cholesterol and a reduction in hypertension. Thus, your doctor may be able to reduce or discontinue medications you are taking to control these diseases.

The Bodyweightloss program is designed to meet nutritional recommendations for healthy people. If you are taking medication or have a medical condition, you are strongly encouraged to take the plan to your physician or dietician for review. Modifications made by health professionals are your responsibility and should be taken very seriously.

Nursing moms: We strongly suggest you consult your physician before beginning any weight-loss plan while still breastfeeding.

Do I have to exercise on the Bodyweightloss program?

Regular physical activity is an important component to lifelong weight management, and overall health and wellness. At Bodyweightloss, we encourage our customers to achieve national health recommendations of 150 minutes of moderately intense physical activity each week.

Do you protect my privacy?

Your privacy is paramount, we will never trade, sell or lease your information and we follow a strict anti-spam policy.  We use TLS encryption for our users’ account data, so the only parties that can see your info are us and you.  For more information about our privacy policy, please visit

Are there restrictions on who can use Bodyweightloss program?

People with certain conditions may not use the Bodyweightloss  program; these include, but are not limited to people who: (a) are pregnant, (b) are allergic to soy, peanuts, or latex (which is used in food processing), (c) have anorexia or bulimia, (d) have chronic kidney disease, or (e) have a condition requiring a gluten-free or ketogenic diet. Children under 14 years of age may not be on the Bodyweightloss  program. Adolescents aged 14-17 years require a specific meal plan and physician approval. Nursing mothers also require an adjusted meal plan. Men weighing in excess of 450 lbs. and women weighing in excess of 400 lbs. require doctor approval to be on the Bodyweihgtloss program.

Is my online payment secure?

If you are concerned about security, be aware that our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, the industry top standard encryption protocol to keep your credit card information secure. SSL sends your credit card information to our computer in an encrypted code, which only we can read.

You can also check to make sure that you’ve accessed a secure server by looking at the URL in your browser. The first characters of the address should change from “http” to “https” when connected to a secure server.

Can I cancel my membership subscription?

We’ll be really sorry to see you go, but if you’d like to cancel your subscription please login to your account and from your account settings tab, select cancel my membership option.

Subscription refunds while still going through your 30-day free trial.

If your 30-day free trial is still active, you haven’t been charged.  To prevent any future charges after your 30-day free trial has expired, simply loin to your account, and select the settings tab and choose the cancel subscription option.

Please keep in mind:

Uninstalling the app doesn’t automatically cancel your subscription — you’ll still get charged after your 30-day free. So please login into your Bodyweightloss account and go to the account setting tab, and select cancel my subscription before deleting the Bodyweightloss App.

Subscription refunds after your 30-day free trial.

Bodyweightloss subscriptions can be canceled at any time.  If you’re unable to access the Bodyweightloss member’s area content or download any Bodyweighloss App, we can issue a refund.  If you cancel within the first 48 hours of a monthly (or longer) subscription, and request a refund we will refund the cost of the month in which you canceled.

Note: We can only refund active subscriptions, and are unable to refund subscriptions that have already ended.

What happens at the end of my billing cycle?

Your Bodyeightloss subscription renews automatically at the end of your billing cycle to guarantee that your journey is never interrupted.

What happens after I lose the weight?

Our goal is not just to help you lose weight, but to teach you healthy habits that last a lifetime, like portion sizes, self-care and adding activity to your day. Maintaining your weight and healthy lifestyle are the keys to your long-term success.

How can I renew/reinstate my membership with Bodyweightloss?

It’s great to welcome you back to Bodyweightloss!

If your Membership has lapsed, you can:

  • Log into Bodyweightloss account.
  • Select “prices” on the top right of the page.
  • Select a monthly or annual membership plan.
  • If you are paying prior to the fee being due, navigate to checkout.
  • Complete the checkout process.
